Editorial Policy
How articles are researched, sourced, reviewed and corrected.
Who writes
All articles are researched and written by the EnergyInnoCore Editor, an independent industry professional with experience in energy and technology (see About). Articles are analysis and opinion, clearly separated from the facts they rely on.
Sources
- Primary sources come first: regulator and grid-operator documents, legislation, court and permit records, company filings and press releases, and research from national laboratories and reliability organizations.
- Reputable news coverage is used for events and is named as such.
- Every article ends with a Sources list so readers can check claims and numbers.
- Where reports disagree or a figure comes from a single company, the article says so.
Review before publishing
Before publication, figures, dates and names are checked against the sources, headlines are checked against the article body so they do not overstate it, and articles are reviewed for clarity.
Updates and corrections
Articles about fast-moving topics are reviewed and updated when conditions change. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly, and the article’s “Updated” date changes. Corrections can be requested through the contact form.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Articles are not paid for or sponsored by any company, and no outside party reviews articles before publication. Advertising is placed by Google and has no influence on content. EnergyInnoCore’s advisory work is kept separate from editorial decisions. If the editor has a material financial interest in a company that is the main subject of an article, the article discloses it.
Use of AI tools
AI tools may be used to support research, outlining and proofreading. The analysis, conclusions and final text are the editor’s, and every article is reviewed by the editor before publication. AI-generated images are labeled as illustrative in their captions.
Images
Photos are used under license (for example, Unsplash) or with permission and are credited in captions. Illustrations created with AI tools are labeled “Illustrative concept”.
